Academic Assessment

Classes LKG - V

The academic year is divided into periodic tests with term examinations. Evaluation of the child's progress will be done on the basis of written work and class assessment which include creative works, recitation, storytelling, etc. Progress Report will be given to the parents during the parents teachers Meeting/ Open House at the end of each Term.

Classes VI - VIII

The examination from the Academic year 2018-2019 onwards will be conducted as per the remodeled assessment structure of CBSE. The School will conduct two written periodic tests with a final term examination.

Note book Submission

Note book submission as a part of internal assessment is aimed at enhancing seriousness of students towards preparing notes for the topics being taught in the classroom as well as assignment. This also addresses the critical aspect of regularity, punctuality (assignment - completion), neatness and note book upkeep.

Subject Enrichment Activity

A project/ activity is a task assigned to an individual or a group to develop basic understanding, practical skills, wholesome interest and desired attitudes among students. Personnel and social qualities like leadership, co-operation, resourcefulness, communication skills, organization skills etc. can be easily assessed through group projects. Parameters such as presentation, technical ability, creative inputs and level of understanding may be used for assessment of projects

English: Speaking and Listening Skills Activities are conducted for subject enrichment in languages are aimed at equipping the leaner to develop effective speaking and listening skill.
Hindi: Hindi Speaking and Listening Skills Activities are conducted for subject enrichment in languages are aimed at equipping the leaner to develop effective speaking and listening skill. The listed laboratory activities and projects as given in the prescribed publication of CBSE/NCERT.
Science: Practical Lab work The listed practical works / activities will be carried out as prescribed by the CBSE curriculum. Social Science: Map work and Project Map and projects work may be undertaken as prescribed by the CBSE curriculum.

Co-Curricular activities

They are done through the presence or absence of specific indicators using a variety of tools as suggested in the guidelines. Some of these could be participated actively in literary and creative activities at school /interschool /state /national/international levels. Take the initiative to plan and drive various literary events like debates, recitation, book clubs etc. which will inspire others and involve a large part of the school/community in different events. Show a keen interest and an aptitude towards a particular art form.
